Cybertip.ca

Canada’s tipline for reporting the sexual abuse and exploitation of children on the internet

Who is it for?

All Canadians

What does it do?

Cybertip.ca receives and processes tips from the public about potentially illegal material online, such as child sexual abuse images and videos, child trafficking, shared intimate images, online luring, and other areas of child exploitation.

The tipline then refers any potentially actionable reports to the appropriate child exploitation units and/or child welfare agency.

Cybertip.ca processes thousands of reports each month. Since launching in 2002, Cybertip.ca has forwarded tens of thousands of reports to Canadian law enforcement agencies, contributed to hundreds of arrests, and protected countless children.

How does it support child safety?

Cybertip.ca and C3P also offer education, prevention, and awareness material free-of-charge to families, schools, law enforcement, child welfare, industry, and other stakeholders to help keep Canadians safe.
