The Canadian Centre for Child Protection Inc. (C3P) is a national charity dedicated to the personal safety and protection of children. Our goal is to reduce the sexual abuse and exploitation of children, to assist in the location of missing children, and to prevent child victimization.
C3P operates Cybertip.ca — Canada’s tipline for reporting child sexual abuse and exploitation on the internet — as well as other prevention and intervention programs and initiatives.
About This Position
The Canadian Centre for Child Protection is a charitable organization dedicated to the personal safety of all children. We are seeking a personable, energetic, and proactive individual to fill the full-time position of Support Services Manager.
The Support Services Manager is a management level position within our Support Services Team. The Support Services Manager is responsible for supporting victims/survivors connecting with C3P with guidance from the Director of Operations ‑ Support Services, providing leadership and supervision on missing children services, and advancing policing relations across Canada to promote the work of the Centre.
Requirements include:
- A Degree in Social Work, Psychology, other related Social Science or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience, including 2–3 years in a staff management role
- Several years of direct experience in the delivery of crisis response service and/or working within a field related to child protection
- Working knowledge of trauma-informed practice and motivational interviewing, with the ability to apply these approaches when supporting children, youth, families, and staff
- Experience in the field of abuse investigation, crisis intervention and assessment of high-risk situations while working with children and/or youth in crisis is considered an asset
- Good understanding of Canada’s criminal justice system and provisions related to the issue of missing and sexually exploited children
- Understanding of child welfare legislation in various jurisdictions across Canada
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to effectively communicate complex or sensitive information (oral, written, interpersonal and public speaking)
- French/English bilingualism is considered an asset

This position offers a salary range of $82,400 - $97,850, depending on experience and qualifications.
